Zanotta 5500 Riccardo Dalisi was born on May 1, 1931 in Potenza. He received his degree in architecture from Naples in 1957. Then he began experimenting with the principles of generative geometry, studying the creation of "natural" forms, with pure geometry as their point of departure. He applied these principles to architectural composition, designing primarily schools. With Capobianco and Pica Ciamarra, Dalisi designed and built the Naples Commodities Market. He stopped designing in 1968 in order to devote himself to research on participation and spontaneous creativity. Together with the students of the School of Architecture, where he began teaching architectural composition in 1969, Dalis iwas active in the working class districts of Naples, realizing numerous seminars, objects and performances based on simple techniques and materials. Together with other members of the radical avant-garde, he contributed to the formation and activities of Global Tools, the Free School of individual creativity.
